I grew up a tomboy—hiking, camping, splitting wood, and swimming in the river. I was my dad's token "boy," as my sister and I are the last generation of Solbakkens in the U.S. Today, I carry that name forward through my small business. Sol means sun, and bakken means hill—together, they form Sunnyhill.
Born from a background rooted in growing flowers and medicinal herbs, my passion and curiosity naturally grew into creating. In 2020, when the world paused, my small business journey began with a simple idea: to reclaim calm in a busy world.
